VEGAN CHEESE
I've tried loads - here are my favourites!
For a cheese toasty
Applewood Vegan Cheese - this is the toasty you thought you'd be able to experience again. So good and widely available - although it does sell out a lot! I use at home and the non-vegan doesn't notice.
For a Greek salad
Violife Greek White Block is great in a salad - it's like a mild feta. However, it separates when you melt it so sadly you can't use it for Greek cooking.
For Pizzas
Grated Sheese Mozzarella Style is by far my favourite for pizzas. Add it with a bit of the Applewood and a load of veggie toppings and you're onto a winner.

For finding places to eat
Happy Cow is a fantastic site that allows vegans to share their experiences where you get can good vegan food all over the world. The great things about this site is that it's not just for vegan restaurants and cafes so you can find places where you can eat as a wider group if you're mixing with non-vegans!
